RediPlay¨ turfgrass is revolutionizing the industry for new and replacement greens-quality sod. Utilizing a patented process, any variety of greens-quality grass can be grown on a plastic surface in a medium of USGA specified sand to provide compatibility with local conditions. In many cases, play may commence on the new or replacement green in under 30 days. In some instances, play has resumed in just 7 days. This is possible because RediPlay¨ is mature when harvested, and the roots are not cut, thus the grass does not go into shock to nearly the extent that conventional sod does. Also, due to the root mass and lack of stress, patching can be done without disrupting continual play.
